Because of your benevolence, FVWC was about to donate nearly $10,000 to charitable organizations such as The Kay Yow Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital, InterACT of Wake County and SAFE of Harnett County, Dementia Alliance of N.C., SPCA of Wake County, Designed For Joy in Raleigh, and the Women’s Suffrage Monument Foundation. Another $13,000 was raised to support community outreach programs and projects such as Backpack Buddies, FV Emergency Food Pantry, art classes and bingo fun for the elderly at Calyx Assisted Living, Homes for the Elderly, and the Pine Acres Community Center , Teacher Mini Grants, Student Scholarships for high school students, Animal rescue and adoption centers, Wreaths Across America, Hope Crisis Center for children and their families, Hand of Hope Center, first responder appreciation , FV Museum and Library support, and much, much more.

A Women’s Only Golf Tournament at a private country club with a Scramble format to keep it moving and fun, course contests and prizes, 50/50 raffle, silent auction, good food, entertainment, and fellowship. The 2026 Farmer’s Almanac predicts perfect weather!
Purple attire and cart decor is encouraged to bring awareness to purple causes such as Cancer Research and Treatment, Prevention and Support Programs to Victims of Domestic Abuse, Dementia Care and Research, Animal Advocacy to name a few.
Funds raised will support nearly 100 Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club annual projects that help support the Arts, Education, Health and Wellness, Civic Engagement, and Environmental Conservation in our community as well as other charitable causes that our State and National Federation Clubs also support.
Opportunities for sponsorships and player/team registration information will be available for review and submission by mail by January 15, 2026.
Player /team registration and Sponsor payment options will be available online on February 1, 2026 by simply clicking on the buttons below for information. Bentwinds Country Club members may register and pay on their Bentwinds account by contacting Evelyn Walters, Director of Golf at evelynwalters@bentwinds.org. Players can also pay by check to FVWC and mail the check with the player/team registration or sponsorship form to the address on the information form.
