Thank you to the Homeowners that opened their beautifully decorated home for Fuquay-Varina Christmas Home Tour and all that visited the homes on the tour on Saturday, December 13, 2025. And a huge thank you to our Fundraising Committee and other club members for months of preparation and even helping some homeowners to decorate their homes. The was the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit with Santa and holiday refreshments at the Falcon Park Hut, visit with baby goats dressed in holiday attire from Smith Farm Goat Sancturary at one of the homes, watch our Artist in Action ( member Maureen Scullin) paint a holiday portrait for a lucky raffle winner , listen to talented high school carolers. Over 600 tourists visited the historic downtown area to see 10 beautifully decorated homes and The Teacherage. The tour was self-guided from home to home so that tourists could visit at their own pace. and the weather was perfect! A docent was available in each home to greet guests, provide interesting facts about the home, and to answer any questions. We also want to thank the FV Parks and Recreation Department, the FV Police Department, FV Juniors Woman Club, and the FV Garden Club for their assistance and support. We also appreciate the Suburban Living and Main and Broad magazines for their publicity of the event. Funds raised from the tour will help with restoration efforts and repair projects at our historic clubhouse at 602 N. Ennis Street built in 1936.
