Something for Everyone
Members achieve club goals through the following departments, planning exciting programs and projects to benefit the community:

Arts and Culture
The Arts and Culture Department incorporates the programs of Arts and Crafts, Literature and Performing Arts. We sponsor a local Arts & Crafts Festival with competitions for grades 4-12

Civic Engagement and Outreach
In the Civic Engagement and Outreach Program, Citizenship, Crime Prevention, Military Personnel and Veterans needs, and the needs of the homeless and hungry are our focus. We work with Wreaths Across America, work with MMIA, prepare food and bags for local police and fire departments, promote civic engagement through voting and gather food for local food banks.

Through the Environment Department programs of Beautification, Resource Conservation and Water Quality, and major environmental problems are tackled. We promote recycling, support the NC Zoo, NC Aquariums and NC Museum of Natural Sciences and preserve and beautify our communities.

Education and Libraries
The Education and Libraries Department emphasizes programs in Literacy, Learning Disabilities, and Be Cool after School. We award Academic and Music Scholarships.

Health and Wellness
Work in the Health and Wellness Department is coordinated through the programs of Women’s Health Issues, Financial Information and Financial Planning.
