The GFWC Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club is very proud to announce the scholarship recipient for the 2016 school year:
Ariel McIlnay received the Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship provided by the North Carolina General Federation of Women’s Club (GFWC NC).
This is a scholastic scholarship based on academic, activities, character, potential, and need.
Education Community Service Program members Dot Mays and Shirley Simmons work with area schools to share information about the annual scholarships.
