Fuquay-Varina area students, Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club and Fuquay-Varina Junior Woman’s Club art, literature, and vocal entries at the Fuquay-Varina Community Arts Festival held on January 17-18, 2015 at Windsor Point advanced to compete at the General Federation of Women’s Club of North Carolina District VI Arts Festival on February 7, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC.
16 art, literature and vocal entries will advance to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs North Carolina State Arts Festival held on March 7, 2015 at Campbell University.
The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club Art Chair, Anna Campbell, mentions, “this event would not be possible without the countless hours of preparation from our area teachers working with their students, club women working together to organize and host these events, and our community coming together to celebrate the creativity and imagination of everyone within our communities.
The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club and Fuquay-Varina Junior Woman’s Club are excited as they celebrate the completion of a very successful and exciting 32nd Fuquay-Varina Community Arts Festival.
